Ingredient

1 kg lamb (with or without bones as per your choice)

7-8 whole dry red chillies ( take 2 or 3 and chopped it)
·
2 tablespoon coriander seeds
·
1 tablespoon coriander powder
·
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
·
2 tablespoons garlic zinger paste
·
1 and half cup unsweetened yogurt
·
5 tablespoons sunflower oil
·
5 medium sized onions sliced very thin
·
Salt to taste
·
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
·
5-6 tablespoons chopped green coriander leaves
·
1 tablespoon green chilli paste
·
1 tablespoon chilli powder
Preparation
First
take a bowl, put the lamb pieces, yogurt, garlic zinger paste, chilli powder, chilli
paste turmeric powder and whole dry chilli (3 or 4) and Mix well and marinate
for 1 hour.
After
that take a pan and put oil to hit medium heat. Add the onions and fry till
golden brown. Remove the onions from the pan, Keep a little amount aside to
garnish the dish and make the remaining part grind to a smooth paste. Take another
pan and put oil and add this onion paste to it and fry for 1-2 minutes. Now add
the meat and its marinade. Cook it till the oil begins to separate from the
masala. Mix often and add a little water whenever the masala begins to stick to
the pan or burn. Add salt to taste. Let the lamb to cooked and tender. After
that remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle the garam masala over it. Cover
immediately and keep aside for 2-3 minutes. Open the cover and garnish with previously
fried onions and chopped fresh coriander leaves and chopped dry chillies.
