Flavours of India- Incredible celebration of Food






‘Food Festival’ this term bring a new excitement in Indian’s life. Last few years Food Festival have come a long way in India. Cities across the country have become ‘foodie centrals’ with an exciting line-up of food festivals.

Following the trend Kolkata organizes whole lot of Food festival around every possible corner of the City. It is so often that if you don’t plan for to go to the festival but you can be at there. It is happening everywhere from banquets to shopping mall, Play ground to streets. It’s an opportunity to pamper yourself with wide range of food even in a unplanned way. This thing happened to me also. I came in connection of food festival named Flavours of Bengal took place in City Centre 1, Kolkata.







Famous restaurants took part in this festival namely- Tamarid, Khandani Rajdhani,  The Funjabi Tarka,  6 Ballygunj Place, Litti Choka, Khawab, Red Bamboo Shoot , Bijoli Grill, Marwar Junction, Pisces, The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata (Bakery), Govinda, Shinghji’s, Gokulshree, Balaram Mallick,

Some lip smacking, Mouth-watering dishes are - Oye!!! Paratha’s Karni Paratha (Mango), Cadbury Paratha and Gobi-Chana Dal Paratha. , The deep-fried Thai Fish Fry of The Red Bamboo Shoot. Shinghji’s soft and tender Chicken Irani and Malai Kebabs.  Crispy Chicken from Tamarind, Balaram Mallick’ Mango Suffel, Bijoli Grill’s Mutton Cutlet and Mutton Kabiraji- these are the name of few.
