A hobby can be a way to Success

The most vital thing which we need to sustain is food. Foods are two types cooked and non cooked (which eatable in raw). Non cooked food mainly means fruits, some vegetables, dry fruits and others like that. Other than these, all foods need to be cooked. In ancient time only women were involved in cooking. But as time passed cooking become popular without gender bias. Cooked dishes, cooking techniques, cooking mediums were different in different countries. In India food was cooked with spices which are mostly not used in western world.  With the progression of time Indian spices going outside and became popular. Even the respective colonial influence had left a strong mark on Indian platters. Cakes, pastries, cookies, biscuits were came in India along with the foreigners.
Along with the world India realizes that a hobby, a passion can be converted into profession which bring position, fame and monitory success. In recent time, Indian used cosmopolitan techniques, ingredients to cook different national and international dishes. Many Indian cooks are engaged in renowned luxurious hotels all over the world. Cooking also involve maximum level of intellect and creativity as any other jobs. With this realization Indian are interested in this profession. In India there are numbers of Institution, Colleges, Schools, Pg courses available to give the knowledge huge range of culinary available in the world and use of these , teach the techniques to prepare many nation  and international dishes. The recent growth and development in the Hospitality Industry and the booming restaurant industry in India has alternated the meaning of cooking as a whole and create a unparallel demand for the chefs and others who involved in this profession. At present cooking is taken as an art in India. One who is the master of this art is known as the King or Queen of the tastes. All over the chefs are not only earning huge money but massive respect and appreciation also.
The job profile available for those who are involve in this passion are chef, baker, Food consultant, Food critic, Food entrepreneur, Food stylish, Food Critic, Food sculptor, Food Photographer, Food Historian, Food and Beverage controller, Cookbook writer, Food Reviewer, Food Columnist, Research and development of Kitchen are name of the few. On the other side Recruiters are Hotels, Restaurant, Airline, regular Caterer, Cruise liners, Hospitals, corporate, Educational Institute, Magazine, News Paper, Armed force, TV Production, Media Houses and many others.
The benefit of Indian professional who are involved in this profession is India itself has range of cuisine. In India there are 28 states. Food tastes, techniques, ingredients of food preparation are varying with the change of the state and region. The dining table in Kashmir is totally different from kanyakumarika. Even within 30 kilometer radius Indian food habits are changed. So, anyone who starts his cooking venture in India, he can learn about the usage of almost every spice and many cooking techniques.
Due to the popularity of this profession in India there are number of magazine, website, newspaper, TV program where anyone can post his or her cooking recipe. In some Tv program host is a expert who teach many new dish preparation. From this program anyone can learn the recipe and technique to make it. One can submit his/her recipe in this program; if the recipe selected them recipe owner is invited to the program to prepare the dish in their studio.  In India a cooking reality show has began 3 years back and became popular in every age without gender bias day by day. In this reality which named Master Chef is a platform to convert an amateur cook to a professional one. Indian renowned chefs are involved as judge in this program like Sanjib Kappor, Vikash Khanna, Kunal kapoor, Ajoy Chopra. In the first two seasons two women were champion. But this year a male one is Champion. This proves that cooking itself has attraction power to attract people towards it.
At the end I like mention one story without which this article can't be complete. The participant named Khuku Patra was a cook in others houses for money. She came in the program. She enters and just mesmerized every one with her cooking skill and techniques. But the interesting fact is that Khuku does not have any traditional educational qualification, even she can't read. Though she is not the winner of the Master Chef but she prepared one after one awesome dish and spellbound the judges who considered many of them were as international standard. Khuku made those with her creative mind. Hope she is not in the profession which earlier she had. Master Chef opens a door and turned her life in a completely new way which leads her to success.
So you can be a chef and spellbound the world with your dish if you have the passion.
