Spicy lemony Roasted Gravy Chicken

Ingredients
  • ·                Chicken-  1 kg (whole)
  • ·         Potatoe-4( medium size)
  • ·         Onion-2 (chopped)
  • ·         Sugar and Salt- As necessary
  • ·         Ghee- 2 tablespoon
  • ·         Lime Juice- 1 cup
  • ·         Yoggrut-3/4 table spoon
  • ·         Bay leaf- 2 paste
  • ·         Black pepper powder- 5/6 tablespoon
  • ·         Onion- small 6
  • ·         Tomato-4 ( 2 whole and (blanch other 2, remove skin & make puree)
  • ·         Garam Masala- (whole ) ( 100 gram) ( roasted and crushed)
  • ·         1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • ·         1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • ·         1" piece ginger
  • ·         oil- 1 cup
  • ·         1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • ·         Garlic cloves- 5 (paste)
  • ·         Ginger- 1’’ paste
  • ·         Kashmiri Mirch -1 /2 teaspoon
  • ·         Green Tomatoe-2 (Paste)
  • ·         Green Chili- 3/4 paste
  • ·         All-purpose flour- 1 /2 teaspoon
  • ·         Honey-1 tablespoon

***** Garam Masala Ingredients-
·         Black and white peppercorns
·         Cloves
·         Cinnamon 
·         Mace (part of nutmeg)
·         Black and green cardamom pods
·         Bay leaf
·         Cumin seeds
·         Coriander seeds

For the Marination:
Use -, Salt, Yogurt, Black pepper powder, lime juice

Process-:

  • Trim excess fat from chicken. Discard neck. Rinse chicken (including cavity) under cold running water. Pat-dry. Graze the chicken with knife .Season with marinating items.
  • Take a medium size bowl full of water on the gas, add crushed garam masala in it. Now add chicken, and potatoes and onions (whole) in it. Let them all to be tender. (Keep in mind that potatoes and onions will be tender before chicken so they need to pick up early. Strain the broth and keep separately.
  • Now take a pan add ghee and bay leaf paste in it and let it smoky hot. Add ginger garlic paste, chili paste. Mix well. Now put chopped onion in it and fry till it gets brown color. Now add all boiled vegetables and stir well. Cover it till oil comes out from it. Now place this “mixture with vegetable” in another bowl and empty the pan.
  • Add oil in the pan. When oil heated well include boiled chicken in it and all remaining paste and powder in it. Let the gas in medium flame and fry well to each and every corner. Let the aroma of fried chicken comes out then include kept “mixture with vegetable” in it.  Whisk as well as that the whole thing comes collectively. Blend well.
  • Include broth in it. Mix well and let the broth get come to boil and add all purpose flour in it to thicken the gravy. Please maintain less gravy. Taste the salt.
  • All done and hunger and aroma of the dish both are at his rage, sprinkle honey, lime juice, and black coriander powder over the chicken. Serve with your sweet smile.
