We were so confused – where to
start. So we had started our venture with sweeten items. Those coconut balls, rice and sesame seed sweet balls were
really heavenly. Once we had finished
it was time for us to go for some spicy dishes! We had started with aromatic soup which
available in two varieties chicken and fish. The steaming bowls of soup had appeared
to lure our senses like nothing ever! We had a bowl of chicken soup with the
customary soy sauce and it did not dishearten

Apart from pies, Tiretti also sees Fish
Sui Mais, Kachumba Pakoras home-cooks selling breaded pork fillets, spring
rolls, chops as well as and oddly enough a kachodi stall which seems to be very
popular with the Chinese customers. A decent meal would cost per person
anywhere between Rs 60 to Rs 100. The Chinese have open-handedly lent their
influence to ‘City of Joy’ cuisine with dishes like Indo-Chinese Hakka Noodles,
Chilli Chicken
overwhelming the market, in the process adding a magical
dimension to it, but they have also managed to preserve a selection of original
recipes that are innately reminiscent of their culture and heritage that are a
mixture of complex aromas and tastes that epitomise the pedigree of their
culinary heritage. One only has to come till Tiretti bazaar to experience this
flavour explosion to their palates.
Tiretti Bazar is also one of the best
places in the Kolkata to find fresh meat, seafood, fresh vegetable, Green
Coconut, Fruits, Flowers and shiitake mushrooms. This place can satisfy almost
all your daily needs.
